Who holds the notes

What you send
The contact form collects the name, email, subject, and message you type. We use that text to read and answer the message. The legal basis is the step you take by sending it. We do not use the form to build a marketing list.
What the browser stores
If you accept or decline the cookie notice, the choice is saved in this browser under the key cookieConsent. The education notice uses sessionStorage under eduNoticeSeen and disappears when the session ends. These pages do not run analytics and do not set advertising cookies.
Fonts and icons
Type is loaded from Google Fonts and icons from a public stylesheet host. Those requests can send a technical address to those providers. We do not combine that with the contact form, and we do not claim it as analytics.
How long
Form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the correspondence, then deleted. The browser choice stays until you clear site data.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete the message you sent. Write to the desk email. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Naming that office is a description of a public route, not a registration of this site.
Transfers
The site is edited from Canada. Font and icon requests may be handled on servers outside Canada by those providers, under their own terms.
